The premise of the story essentially is of a man (Andy) and his sister (Kate) who have come to put the affairs in order of a cousin who has just died/5().


Erik Therme has thrashed in garage bands, (inadvertently) harbored runaways, and met Darth Vader. None of these have come close to the thrill of releasing his debut novel, Mortom. When he's not at his computer, he can be found cheering on his oldest daughter's volleyball team, or chilling on the PS3. "Mortom" by Erik Therme. J ~ mymurmuringbones. I would have liked to see more citizens of Mortom introduced and depicted in greater depth, but I understand that limiting the number of important characters allows more control over the story. I believe Mortom will appeal to people who enjoy 'non-traditional' mysteries. There are no serial killers, no burnt-out cops, and/or retired FBI agents—only a normal, everyday guy, thrown into extraordinary circumstances. And who wouldn't love to play a 'real life' game of follow-the-clues?
